She went on to praise Patrick as a true leader and team player, expressing her awe at his determination and commitment to leading the team to victory.

In a previous interview with PEOPLE in July 2023, Patrick acknowledged the significant role Brittany plays in his life and career.

He credited her unwavering support and assistance in alleviating some of the responsibilities off his plate, allowing him to focus on being himself both on and off the field.

"I have a great wife," Patrick expressed. "I think that helps out a ton. She helps me out a ton by taking stuff off my plate. I have great people around me, and I can be Patrick Mahomes. I can be myself, the same person I've grown up being — and luckily that's won a couple of Super Bowls."

Beyond their shared love for football, the couple also embraces the joys of parenthood. With two young children, 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes II, born in November 2022,
