Stephen A. Smith Has Three-Word Message For Knicks’ Next Opponent

The New York Knicks await their playoff opponent as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. As the Miami Heat lead the Philadelphia 76ers on the road, many believe the Knicks will be welcoming Miami to Madison Square Garden in round one. 

ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith had a message for the Knicks potential matchup with the Heat, stating “We want Miami.” He’s widely known as one of the Knicks biggest public supporters, despite the frustration he’s expressed throughout the past couple of years.

A Knicks versus Heat series would be incredible in rebirthing one of the best rivalries the game has ever seen. Two franchises that have respect, yet hatred for one another. Smith seems confident in New York’s odds, as the Knicks have one of the best rosters they’ve courted in recent years. 

The Play-In game between the Heat and Philadelphia 76ers is still up for grabs, but Miami has been leaning toward a victory for much of the matchup.
